2M Builders is a building company set up by old friends Andrew Maynard and Ben McArthur. Based in Hobart, we are 100% Tasmanian-owned and specialise in targeted projects with big impacts on the liveability of your home.

With backgrounds in civil engineering and multiple trades, we bring high-level project management expertise to every new build. Drawing on our extensive network of expert tradespeople, we work with clients to achieve the best possible results. Our team specialises in thoughtful, fit-for-purpose, compelling designs. Whether it’s a new house, studio, granny flat, office space, garage, or shed, we work hard to ensure our clients are delighted with both the outcome and the journey to get there.
General Carpentry
At 2M Builders, we appreciate the small things. We can help with a range of features, including kitchens, bathrooms, decks, and windows and doors. A thoughtful change to even a single room can make your house feel bigger, create space to socialise, or encourage your children to play outside.

We are experts in renovations and additions, adding value to existing homes and making them more comfortable, enjoyable, sustainable places to live. We pride ourselves in our attention to detail, and we know that little features can make your home more liveable.
